I’m posting every week in 2011!

Hey everyone!

Wordpress has launched a new activity of blogging everyday. But I doubt I will have the time everyday. Hence, I will be posting on this blog once a week for all of 2011, starting from tomorrow!

I know it won’t be easy, but it might be fun, inspiring, awesome and wonderful. Therefore I’m promising to make use of The DailyPost, and the community of other bloggers with similiar goals, to help me along the way, including asking for help when I need it and encouraging others when I can.

If you already read my blog, I hope you’ll encourage me with comments and likes, and good will along the way.

15/12/10 Spare a moment to care.

Spare a moment to care.

I saw this caption at quite a number of places - on the mrt train, on buses, on the streets.

How many moments we have lost, for not caring?

'You didn't switch off the lights!'

'I don't care.'

'I need help!'

'I don't care.'

'You need to do your homework.'

'I don't care.'

...

Well, this may seem like minor issues that we don't have to waste time caring about it.

But, it is all these small matters that train us for handling bigger matters.

Refer to Matthew 25:21 and Luke 16:10, they mentioned the LORD saying that if we are faithful in little things, such as using the talents (money) appropriately, He will entrust us with much more. I can across this wordpress post and I thought of sharing with you all. The link is as below:

Back to my topic, I saw the Nanyang Family, being the participants of The President's Challenge 2010, initiated this 'Spare A Moment To Care' project.

But what surprised me was that I din't knew that there was such a project that my school (NYGH) had taken part in. Well I knew NY has always been taking part in The President's Challenge, but this project did not come across my mind until I discovered the posters.

Okay, that's not the point. The point is urging all of us to spare a moment to care. To care for those around us - our family members, friends, those who need help etc...

Perhaps, our just-in-time help to others may bring them warmth to their maybe, boring and dull life.

So think about it, no, look, we should cultivate a habit of caring for others every time and opportunity we have and be as helpful as we can.

Let's all learn to lend our helping hand(s) to others, regardless of religion, race, age... !

CCA again! mwhahahahaha!

hey! cca is totally awesome.
dalt room cleaning in the morning. woah, SUPER clean ah. eli's gloves were super uncomfortable. and there was the spray spray glenna brought. then started to rain. argh.
couldnt do warm up, jiao lian came early lor. start cca lor! LOL. :) oh and hsichien was sick. boo.
then we went up to dalt room and brought down the long zhu! the pearl of the dragon? haha, its time to learn the dragon mwhahahaha. then started to learn how to peel the orange. talking about how the price of the peeler rises and falls hahahaha. peeled quite not presentable. and ate the orange. that was after demo. hmmm, i am still alive. that's great. i didnt even wash my hands fyi. haha, rain rain rain. so funny. from 10 plus people left 5 people. how great.
raining so heavily and with 5 people how to have drums? clever decision made - no drums. but something more important - repaint/spray the drums and put chinese characters nanyang. but first, solve the stomach's groanings. went to coro (1st time yeah) and walked and walked and walked. finally chosen a restaurant. self service to drinks woah. good good. some soup with garlic bread for appetizer, then... my chicken chop! ah, the western etiquette course is applicable again! wahahaha. student meal 6.50 each, claim from school. :) glenna remembered the receipt haha, she commented 还好我记得，不然我的钱就拿不回来了。haha, she paid for us first mah.
then to the handy tool shop we walked past. decided to buy spray 'cause its cheaper and dries faster. haha, arguing whether to buy black or dull black. diffference? dont know. then need gold for the characters, dont have. bronze can? eli: no i want gold! ask auntie: have golden? auntie: dont have, only have bronze. glares at eli. eli: fine, bronze haha. LOL.
back to school, moved out the 2 drums. tried spraying. hmmm, dont waste. after much effort, done. result: quite nice and black spots on our hands. hahahaha. spraying words. wa, wonderful ah. first one was ruined a bit. went to but paintbrushes to save but bookshop not opened. went to art room and borrow. good. they wont mind having 4 lesser paintbrushes. we returned though, they are unusable i suppose. haha ask felicia to upload the photos of them on facebook soon. yeah. finally, done. coolest activity in dalt ever. we're awesome. that was the best art i ever did. serious. it was fantastic. yeah, moral of the day: JOIN DALT! hahahaha, just advertising. :)

HAHAHAHAHA, went for cca yesterday. wa, reach at 7 plus lor. :)
lion dancing till 11 plus and jiao lian treated us to candy floss hahaha.
then watched lion dancing vcd till 12 plus before going for lunch - chicken rice! :)
yiwen was talking to hongwoon all the while and i told him on the phone that he voice cracked very badly, so low. haha, and i tolf him the muah chee joke. LOL, it was epic. thanks to jiaming for the joke which came for reverend Lai. :D talked to jiahe too, but he was on the mrt, couldnt hear me at all. -.- no humour. this kind of people will be bored to death.
had drums, jiao lian was like laughing throughout as we learnt the competition set. hahahahaha!
aiyoh, many many wonderful memories in dalt ah. will treasure them. :):)

undescribable joy!

Hey yo! went to sengkang for kite flying last sat! cool lah! my whole feet were dirtied 'cause of mud. argh. kite-flying with xiaohong's kite. -.- haha, cool lor, including the untagling the entangled strings. haha, at last jiaming saved a shanzha for me. mwhahahaha, uncle carl said, 有人叫我送山楂给你. haha, and guess, yep, its jiaming. :) and then liuhong was like, i also want. haha :D. oh yeah!
oh and david lent me the movie yesterday. now i can watch! finally. he didnt went for kite-flying leh, he was sick. but good too, nobody to fight with for shanzha, wahahaha. =D
yeah, i guessed i should enjoy this week joyfully. last week of holiday le... cant wait to see my friends haha. :) and more work... haha, jiayou people for the upcoming term, though it's still a bit early. hahahaha. :)

HEY! haha, it's saturday!
stayed up yesterday to watch WC.
RSA vs MEX, draw 1-1.
haha, great scoring. but many missed goals too. :(
went for piano lesson just now, teacher had a concert perf today! maybe it's now. she said i can go for the 1 hour lesson, but it's double the fee leh...
sadly didnt went for the ypf cycling at east coast, bleh, i can only view the photos on facebook lor...
just had a satisfying nap just now. now have to chiong homework.

Hey people, did I tell you all something?
Last thurs went back to chongfu for lyrics workshop, then 张老师and 徐老师 gave us a talk on lyrics. after that there were guest speakers. had to write out a song in half an hour. but clever me, already started writing when we first heard the song. :):) guest speakers were 蔡元龙老师and洪胜安. yep, tha one who acted in 红白喜事. that was another teacher, 李景升老师or启升老师, I'm not sure lah. 张老师took my first draft and gave to the teachers. lol, it was lousy, draft mah.
Then wrote out the whole song. gosh, the teachers reviewed mine the last. luckily. haha, 启升老师even sang out mine while playing the keyboard. yeah, and he repeated the chorus over and over again, we sang together with 洪胜安. 启升老师even asked me to sing out my piece leh, though i didnt sing it out very loud. YAY! Finally another person has revealed my talent. :D though they didn't give prize for the best piece, but i'm sure i would have gotten it if there was.
well, afterwards my brother told me they didnt give us sweets. haha, ya hor, everyone who went up were supposed to get sweets for reward. haha. :) maybe I was too happy to realise that. :)
Oh, 张老师scolded the class afterwards though, saying how naughty they were and she said i very well-behaved, haha yeah. :) yes, get back for always staring at me when i was there.
:):) it was a nice day. and the security guard commented "wow, sister and brother ah." when me and my brother walked out of the gate. :)

it's a BRAND new day!

hey! today have GIL lesson. hmmm, tired. and saturday have piano lesson, that means i can't go for cycling. boo. :(
havent start on chinese sia yet. man, i have to find articles. *search search*
and romeo and juliet. haiyoh.
aiyah, no point complaining. oh my dad's bringing us to watch karate kid. soon. haha yeah. :)

Okay, it was about YPF camp.
Woah, many things have happened since then leh.
Haha, I'm in sec 2. Talking about it, loads of homework came down on us during term 1 and term 2. hehe, finally can take a break already.
December:
1. Christmas: Oh yeah! I was Theresa and Trixie's page turner! Haha, what a honour. Oh and choir was wonderful. :D
2. Baptism: Jasmine got baptised! Oh yeah congrats to her. :)
3. Countdown: Amazing, at Dr.Yip's house and sharing :)

January:
1. School starts. And we got to be angels. My mortal is Huiling lah, but she already know my identity now. :( yet to reply her letter...

February: CNY performance. went round Singapore. rushed down from church that day.
Church CNY performance. WONDERFUL. play by Matthew and the guys. hmmm, next year it should be the girls. :) and many many wonderful parts. :)

June: now! enjoy our holidays! :):)

CCA starts. yeah have juniors le! Oh and there's another jiao lian teaching us now. :)
PM Lee came to our school. :) but our class didnt get to see him. thanks to homec lesson in kitchen.
JWBB, JM, Ashley went to JC le. One in Hwa Chong, one in Temasek, one in NP.
HCNYATFM. Ha, that one. met with hwachong boys and then performed lor. manymany photos. on fb. and manymany love stories. yiwen with hongwoon. :)
Block tests. yeah. :) msg 1.67 ftw. :D jiayou for next term, msg 1.33!
some interclass math and sci competition thingy. we actually got into finals. :)
class tee, finally we are getting it. price at 14++ only!
