Yeah!!!Yipee!!!Today is the last day of CA2 le!!!^^=):):]=]. Now can play like siao le, not to tell you my ca2 results, you will find out when mq puts up the results. go and see for yrself and how badly i hav done this time. today went thru maths ppr. i got two careless mistakes, what the!!!then the marker, i think he/she a bit sort sort la, 2 section b questions, minus me 6 marks!!!omg!!!sort right?so i can get more marks !!!^^ lalala...thn the marker i think he eyes playing tricks on him on the day. even jia feng's marks oso can make wrong. worst still, jia feng's marks and my marks are the same!!!omg!!wrong oso the same, corrected oso the same. how can?!so i dun noe how lor. then mq oso said that 2 girls in our class got a* for science, which will be gone thru i think tmr la, then the worst is oso a girl...ooo...cant wait for tmr lor, now i gtg le, go and watch tv lor...^^

Yuck, I went to the class blog yesterday and checked the tagboard. Somebody put porn video on our blog!!!Ewwwwwwwww!!Luckily, I deleted it, of course, cant let it stay there wat. Then jun yi suspected that it was alston. So i say he muz hav proof, and of coz, in the end, no proof at all.what the!!!only left hmt on monday le...congrats to jun yi who scored full marks in maths, maybe teacher counted wrongly, and i didn score 100...boo hoo hoo...='(but at least scored better than yu quan by i-dunno how many marks.=)=). anyway, today dun hav maths oltmpiad, at home with brother, v.v.v.v.v.v.bored leh, dunno wat to do now. reading bks and my neck is going to break anytime. aiyo, sit in front of the computer for too long can be bad for eyes...and necks, especially when my com is a desktop!!!urgh...anyway, gtg le. btw, maybe i hav time today to post the 2nd episode of "She". see ya!!^^

Whoosh, I love Maths!!!!Today, when i presented the award and the $100 cheque, as u noe, i hav stage-fright, i am trembling. and when i shook my hands with mr pek, his hand dunno how many times bigger than mine. so big!!and my hand was quite wet, his hand very dry. then he said well done when we were all abt to go down of the stage, and i was loss of words, i only smiled.hehe, dun tell anyone else...Zeng Yu very sad and jun ying very emo. zeng yu said she got 9 marks deducted le, jyjy zeng yu!!no more careless mistake in front!!^^be more confident in yrself!!!then nervous with myself. tmr hav chinese exam, and furthermore, theres compo!!i m gonna score in the compo and the paper!!!jyjy!!!same for u too!^^today the maths paper, mq told us to bring the mathematical set, but for no use...diaozzzzz. dunno why he tell us bring lor...aiyo...yu quan got 1 question wrong le...mwhahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahaha!!!nanshan said that chuan hao wrote all his answers on his lap...omg!!!oao after recess, ms adilah, scolded us at the staircases...dunno for wat.

Overall, elephant numbers have declined dramatically. The conservation nonprofit WWF, for example, estimated that there were about 1.3 million African elephants in 1970. By 1989 that number had slid to 600,000.

Many protected areas, however, seem to be too small for their increasing elephant populations. As a result, officials often take steps to reduce elephant numbers through controlled hunts and other measures.
In some areas, including much of Asia, humans continue to invade elephant country even as animal populations are dwindling.
"The Sumatran subspecies, for example, is rapidly disappearing in large measure because [Sumatra's] forests have been cut at perhaps the fastest rate of deforestation in the world," he said. "The elephants don't have anywhere to go, so they end up causing crop damage, and then they get poisoned or shot for it."

The Man Without A Face
Years ago a hardworking man took his family from New York State to Australia to take advantage of a work opportunity there. Part of this man's family was a handsome young son who had aspirations of joining the circus as a trapeze artist or an actor. This young fellow, biding his time until a circus job or even one as a stagehand came along, worked at the local shipyards which bordered on the worst section of town.

Walking home from work one evening, this young man was attacked by five thugs who wanted to rob him. Instead of just giving up his money the young fellow resisted. However they bested him easily and proceeded to beat him to a pulp. They mashed his face with their boots, and kicked and beat his body brutally with clubs, leaving him for dead. When the police happened to find him lying in the road they assumed he was dead and called for the Morgue Wagon.

On the way to the morgue a policeman heard him gasp for air, and they immediately took him to the emergency unit at the hospital. When he was placed on a gurney a nurse remarked to her horror, that his young man no longer had a face. Each eye socket was smashed, his skull, legs, and arms fractured, his nose literally hanging from his face, all is teeth were gone, and his jaw was almost completely torn from his skull. Although his life was spared he spent over year in the hospital. When he finally left his body may have healed but his face was disgusting to look at. He was no longer the handsome youth that everyone admired.

When the young man started to look for work again he was turned down by everyone just on account of the way he looked. One potential employer suggested to him that he join the freak show at the circus as The Man Who Had No Face. And he did this for a while. He was still rejected by everyone and no one wanted to be seen in his company. He had thoughts of suicide. This went on for five years.

One day he passed a church and sought some solace there. Entering the church he encountered a priest who had saw him sobbing while kneeling in a pew. The priest took pity on him and took him to the rectory where they talked at length. The priest was impressed with him to such a degree that he said that he would do everything possible for him that could be done to restore his dignity and life, if the young man would promise to be the best Catholic he could be, and trust in God's mercy to free him from his torturous life. The young man went to Mass and communion every day, and after thanking God for saving his life, asked God to only give him peace of mind and the grace to be the best man he could ever be in His eyes.

The priest, through his personal contacts was able to secure the services of the best plastic surgeon in Australia. They would be no cost to the young man, as the doctor was the priest's best friend. The doctor too was so impressed by the young man, whose outlook now on life, even though he had experienced the worse was filled with good humor and love.

The surgery was a miraculous success. All the best dental work was also done for him. The young man became everything he promised God he would be. He was also blessed with a wonderful, beautiful wife, and many children, and success in an industry which would have been the furthest thing from his mind as a career if not for the goodness of God and the love of the people who cared for him. This he acknowledges publicly.

His life was the inspiration for his production of the movie "The Man Without A Face." He is to be admired by all of us as a God fearing man, a political conservative, and an example to all as a true man of courage.If you haven't gone and seen "The Patriot" yet, do so. It is an incredible and awesome movie. It's like a "BraveHeart" with muskets. Now I understand why Mel Gibson is such an incredible actor.

Happiness[1st episode]
She is a girl, a twelve-year-old ordinary school girl. Not too tall or too short, not too big or too small. She does well in certain subjects, do badly in other subjects. As the saying goes, nobody is perfect. She is imperfect. She has good points, as well as bad points. Nobody likes her. She never experiences true happiness before until she falls in love with someone else...

It had been kept as a secret in the bottom of her heart. Nobody knows it, except for her, alone. She shares other secrets with her diary, but not this one, this special, very very special secret: She likes someone in the tuition centre, a boy who caught her attention, her full attention. She is fortunate, she is in the same class as him. She always look forward to the day which she had her tuition, just to see the boy. Every time, the same old routine, she quarrelled with the boy. Every time, to attract attention. After a long period of one year of quarrelling, the boy still didn't take notice of her. He knew that she likes him, but he pretended to take no notice of her, no matter how hard she tried.

Then, a decision broke the fighting of the two children. The girl's father decided that the girl will have to take up another tuition. This is not the worst, what is the worst is that the day of her another tuition, clashed with her initial tuition with the boy! Unable to defend herself from changing the day, she agreed to it reluctantly. And what more, she had to change her initial tuition to an earlier day. She cried silently, nobody heard her sorrows.

Days after days , and weeks after weeks, she thought of him, day and night, minutes and seconds. She couldn't take her mind off him, she doesn't know why, until she realised that she has fallen in love with the boy. She couldn't control her emotions. She became hot-tempered and started to use violence on her friends. Vulgarities, hitting, beating, she had used all these ways, and her results started to go to the south direction. Nothing could heal her. The old her has disappeared into thin air, a new her has been formed.

To make things worse, rumours in the tuition centre has been spreading around that the boy has fallen for another girl of his class, he even declared war with his love rival, which happens to be in the same tuition centre as him. The girl lost hope. She cried every night, silently, alone in the dark, merciless night.

Alas, she regained hope. She regained hope from jealousness, she felt that she must do well in the examinations to win the boy's heart. She regained her confidence in studying and doing well in her exams to win the boy's heart. She won many prizes, trophies and plaques and certificates. Slowly, day by day, she forgot her hatred towards the girl whom the boy loved, and forgot her love for the boy gradually. Slowly, bit by bit, her results are going north. She got many prizes, almost all her prizes are the top few. She was in the top few position in her level during the year.

She scored well in her PSLE on was the top student of the year. She even broke the record, she scored 295!!She opened a party at a park, she invited everyone she knows. Even her love rival. She met her dream boy at the party with her love rival, she didn't bother. She even walked over to congratulate them. She held back her tears. That night, she cried, not of happiness, but of sadness. She always thought that good results will bring her happiness, she was wrong. She cried until her eyes were swollen like a sausage. She promised herself in her heart: Not to hate the boy and her love rival, never, what is mine, will be mine. Even though she saw the two lovey dovey together every time, she repeated her promise to herself silently in the heart.

She survived, she survived through the hardship. She got what she got: a opportunity to go overseas to further her studies and archive a position as a professor. At the moment, she had a dilemma: whether to put down her love for the boy and go overseas or stay behind and pursue her dreams? She made a painful decision to herself: Go overseas.

On the day of departure, every friend of the girl came, except for the boy. The girl felt sad. She left with a broken heart...

Hurt myself...

hurt myself at the bus stop opposite sch today after sch...playing and playing and fell...cheryl lee gave me a plaster for my injured non-writing-hand's elbow...and both the knees are bleeding now...it is my dunno-how-many times falling and injuring and hurting my lower part of the body, in particular-the two poor legs of mine^^it hurts and now it is still hurting...=(

okays, lets put tat aside, today played the 对错题 in chinese lesson...didn win any 贴纸, but enjoyed it...龙老师 said nxt time play again muz be blindfolded...or else SOME ppl will CHEAT...haha...happy got another reason too...remus's grp oso didn win 贴纸.mwhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!^^^^btw, ppl in class say tat remus tat grp got 17贴纸，or 27贴纸，or 22 贴纸...dunno who is right or wrong...pls tag if u are a member of remus's grp and how many 贴纸 your grp have le...my grp hav 20...tommorow maybe can earn more 贴纸...god, pls let the day end faster so i can get 30 贴纸 as soon as poosible...lalala^^
