Dead Sea Scrolls exhibition!

hi people.
this will be a long post, so you can skip this if you want.
let's start from the very very beginning.
got to church in my new hairstyle.
ya and i let my fringe down.
so as expected, ppl were looking at me with that weird look on their faces.
and my mother kept on telling me not to slant my head to my left.
ok, sitting quite in front, like the third row.
and then worship and i liked the music played during prayers.
tea-break.
JWBB said i looked like elvis presley.
haha.
oh theresa and david brought her friends from hci to church.
and among them there is my senior, ok i don't know her but her was from dalt.
that reminded me that i need to practise jumping.
oh ya, rev. lai talked about the dead sea scrolls during sunday sch.
so nice the postcards.

then lunch, ha, i have things to talk about.
i finished lunch and went to take my bag.
then JM was like, at the door, blocking the way.
and he pulled wenjun to him.
so i cant go in, then i was kidding him that i know his weakness.
then he glared at me through the window.
ya i know he wanted to tell me not to.
i know, but i purposely go and toot him.
haha, it worked la, of course.
and so he let go of wenjun and stepped back into the room.
and i went in to take my bag.
so i was showing him and jerry the blister on my thumb.
and jerry was saying how he got injured and his hand was really hard.
then we went down.
i had to run back because i forgot my bottle.
boarded the bus and my bro "treated" me to prawn crackers.
not very nice, dont like it anymore.
ok reached the arts museum and our driver didnt know the way!
but we reached there anw.


took group photos.
and went in.
then was the screening of the dead sea scrolls.
Mei Yun kept on taking photos.
my cam was spoilt, so i didnt manage to take any.
a lot of ppl sat behind.
after watching, went to exhibit 1!!
yeah, was upstairs.
the guide was so funny!
suddenly JM stood behind me talking to jas.
so i commented that he was scary.
and unfriendly too.
he disagreed with me. lol.
walked around.
and i borrowed darius' s guide to look around.
John Calvin, Martin Luther, William Tyndale...
translated the bible from Latin to Greek, Greek to Spanish, then to english.
ok not sure about which translation, but is mainly these few.
and then realised that William Tyndale ws strangled and burnt to death!
oh no, he must have struggled.

the scrolls!!
goodness, real fragments!!

very long! like 1 person's body length!!
and i found my bro.
and i realised that the words on the fragments cant be seen without the help of infra-red rays!!
cool isn't it?
the fragments were so small!!
could hardly see the words.

exhibit 3!!
the last one!
i saw the bigbigbigbigbigbig bible!!!
goodness, 15kg heavy.
brand new one!!!
and the miniature bible!!!!
so small, at the chapter of ezra.
cute!!
maybe Mei Yun will post the photos on fb.
and then there was the lunar bible.
the first ever bible being taken up to the moon on Apollo 13 and 14!!
and they showed the book of Genesis I think.
ok nothing much lor.
filled up this suggestion thingy.
and went out!

and got stuck as we didnt know the way to the mrt.
luckily JWBB knew.
so we walked and walked and walked.
and reached.
ok, that was extra.

took mrt to dhoby ghaut and met my mother there.
went to carrefour to buy stuff and suitcase for my bro.
and i was drooling at the sushi.
spent like an hour there because the cashier too lousy.
finally got it and i put my bag in 'cause it weighed so heavy!!
pulling the suitcase as we go, look like we just came back from some holiday.
haha but didn't take off the price tag, so if ppl were smart, then they can see through lor.
went to bata to buy new shoes for my bro.
ate kfc and went home.

reached home at 7.
going to do my last homework.
then sleep.
so that marks the end of my wonderful Sunday.
next sunday have yp life!!
