Movie marathon

300th

seriously speaking, I have reached my 300th post. :D
and I haven't post for quite a while. :O
many things happen and don't feel like typing all of them out one by one.
just talk about today and thurs.
I am making this sound likeI posted it after I came home from Aunt Wee Lee's house.
actually, it's 10 plus in the morning, 28/11, Sat. : )
thurs: went for choir.
totally fantastic!
sing and sing and sing and went home.

1 litre of water=1kg, I never knew.

today:
woke up at 6.45, almost overslept.
had breakfast and started to make the whacko stick after my brother left for zoo.
rush and rush and rush and then I took mrt, thought of taking bus but can't find the place.
called Mei Yun when I left and asked her to wait for the next train.
Then I reached Orchard. Wow, splendid.
And then Mei Yun came up from the opposite escalator!#
Wow we INDEED have telepathy.
anw, we met JM and Ashley outside and they reached at 8.10 when we reached at 8.30?!
waited and waited and chatted about random facts and then Darius, Joshua and Matthew came afterwards from the market.
had some issues with Shee Hui and Wen Jun and DAVID(who was not even at home for the whole day!).
walked to bus stop and took bus to BG.
on the way I was telling Mei Yun about buying a shan zha keychain for me. :D
and who was going for 1, 2 or 3 (YPF, YAF, AF) that day.
saw the swans and walked one round.
settled down. (ar, finally)
laid out.
singspiration. prayer. intro to books.
choose books. breakfast(for some ppl).
went to fetch leyi and liu hong at the entrance.
and liu hong scored 242!
wow good score!
played dog and bone for a while.
cleared up. went off.
me, Mei Yun, Ashley, JM, Darius, Matthew, Joshua walked to tanglin mall to have lunch.
lunch was filled with beef.
waited for the boys to buy sarsi and i saw chocolates! yum yum!
had to walk to bus stop to talk bus to Dhoby Ghaut and train back to church.
only me, JM, Mei Yun and Darius alighted and we ran-walked back to church office.
back to office. ate some don't-know-what-thing made by don't-know-who but it was quite nice though.
had to print out songsheets for YAF cause no laptop last minute.
AMAZING GRACE!!
yeah! 2 hours plus.
ended round 3.30.
had tangyuan and red bean soup downstairs made by Aunt Biqing.
then play soccer.
me and JM one team vs shengwei and someone.
we won, of course.
We were the red team-the players were wearing red shirts and black shorts, I was wearing black and JM red.
amazing. haha.
JM said we were powderful, ya, powderful, no typo error.
played somemore matches with other ppl.
called my father and confirmed going for AF.
so stayed there until 5.
before leaving, JM changed to his new clothes, looked so erm, don't know how to describe.
reached Aunt Wee Lee's house at 6 plus.
very tired.
dinner. prayer. singspiration. prayer.
oh during dinner, very funny.
we sat at the stairs, eating.
and then Jian Hao and Jian Zhi were playing with JM, Wen Jun and Shee Hui.
JM said I was trying to be funny when I didn't let them pass through me.
I argued. of course.
CHARIOTS OF FIRE!!
after that, my butt was so pain from sitting on the stairs.
mango incident.
Jian Zhi, for no reason, kept on wanting to talk to me and pestering me.
ya, FOR NO REASON.
maybe because he like me :D
and Jian Hao also.
so I asked JZ to get a piece of mango for me, yes, mango!
and I think he wanted to get a big piece for me, assuming that he liked me.
and he got me the seed!
wonderful. I ate it la, not to disappoint him.
and he also took another seed for himself, to atone I think.
then I asked Jian Hao to help me throw, to repay for what his brother had done to me.
oh, Jia Jun was with his fish theory of how the fish swims with its fins and tail.
went home with Uncle Jonathan and Darius.
on the way back just now was so funny.
Joshua asked Aunt Helen what breakfast was for the next day.
then Aunt Helen replied: Why? You hungry now ar?
Note: it was about 10 plus almost 11 and Aunt Helen said 'You hungry now ar'
hahaha! : )
they were so shocked when they heard that I woke up at 5.15 every morning to go to school.
no doubts, I felt a bit proud. :P
so tired when I reached home. changed out and slept.
reminder: I am typing this at 10 plus in the morning, 28/11, Sat.


Reflections.
AMAZING GRACE
After the movie, I felt that God has really been with us always, no matter what.
William Wilberforce couldn't have abolish slavery without help of God.
though much opposition at first, he was able to continue for 20 years until he managed to abolish slavery.
In the end, he succeeded, with help of God through prayers.
The pastor, John Newton, wrote the song, I think.
Though he is blind in his last few years, he saw God's grace in his heart.
I feel that we should follow the example of William Wilberforce, believe in Christ and put our hopes in God.
Really recommend for others who have yet to watch.

CHARIOTS OF FIRE
I feel that Eric Liddell made the right decision of not participating in the 100m race on Sabbath because as what he said, the LORD said that the Sabbath is for him.
When the 100m race was on, Eric Liddell was delivering a sermon in church and he quoted from Isaiah 40:31 'But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not be faint.' (King James Bible)
Abraham won the race that day.
The next race, 400m race, American runner Jackson Sholz, handed him a piece of paper, on it was: He who honours me I will honour.
This made me think that God's words are always encouraging us.
And the most famous one: 'I believe that God made me for a purpose. But He also made me fast, and when I run, I feel his pleasure.'
He said this twice, once to his sister Jennie and the other, at the end.
I believe too, God made me for a purpose, just that I have yet to find out that purpose.
And too, I believe that everyone is made with a purpose.
